Yost Rolls Over For DeWine

On April 18 of last year Delaware County Ohio Prosecutor Dave Yost announced his candidacy for Ohio Attorney General. In his press release he said "Ohio needs a prosecutor, not a politician in the State's top law enforcement job." I believed him.

Yesterday, however, Yost bowed to  Kevin DeWine and the Ohio Republican Party like Obama to a foreign prince and announced he would leave the AG seat to Kevin's cousin Mike DeWine. Guess Yost is just a politician after all.

Mike DeWine is a former U.S. Senator from Ohio that voted like a Kennedy and was proud of his Brady endorsement. Since he is now unopposed in the primary, he will face current Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray, who is a pro-gun Democrat.

Hmm, I wonder who'll I'll vote for?  The anti-gun RINO or the Pro-gun Democrat? Do we really want an anti running the concealed carry bureaucracy?

Kevin DeWine and the Ohio Republican party are the best thing that the Democrats have going for them in Ohio. Not only did their RINO love fest help sweep in mostly all Democrats following their TAFT-Montgomery-DeWine gang, they have also chosen anti-gun, Clinton Assault Weapon Ban fanboy John Kasich to oppose NRA A+ rated Governor Ted Strickland for the top executive post.  2010 may be a good year for conservatives nation wide but in Ohio, we seem to be lacking any.

Back to Dave Yost though I do have one question for him: How does that RINO lap dog thing work in Ohio? When you sit curled up in DeWine's lap and he is scratching your ears, do you lick your own balls or his?
