Like a good little Marxist, New York Congresswoman and Bolshevik bimbo Carolyn McCarthy doesn't even know what her gun ban would actually ban but she just knows she wants to ban something.
I realize this video has been around for a while but surprisingly there are still a handful of people that have not seen it. DirtCrashr mentioned it on a comment on this post the other day and I couldn't help running it again.

Is it because she got caught not knowing what a barrel shroud is? I admit that's embarrassing as hell, but to generate such a reaction from you surprises me. You don't talk about all the anti-gun folks like that, at least to me you don't. So, what gives?

The barrel shroud incident just illustrates her hatred for the Bill of Rights. This woman admittedly ran for Congress solely as an anti-gun politician. Her one objective is the banning of all guns from the hands of anyone not in the military. She is for any gun ban, no matter what it is. She doesn't use reason, logic or any other measure--if it bans a gun, any gun, she is for it. She hates America and the Bill of Rights and would gladly usher in Soviet style totalitarianism if she could.
She is certain that banning barrel shrouds will save countless lives. Laws prohibiting barrel shrouds must be in force. She doesn't know what a barrel shroud is, but they will surely slaughter millions of children if they exist. The woman is an extremist in the worst way.
Mike, as misguided as I think you are on the gun flow issue, at least you can make an argument even if you do grasp from total anti-gun sources like the Gun Guys or the Bradys. This woman doesn't even want to understand what she is banning, she just wants them all banned. Actually, she probably needs psychological help and if she isn't seeing a psychiatrist, I would be very surprised.
I wonder if she grabs hot dishes from the oven without a pot holder? That is all a barrel shroud does--keeps you from burning your hand and allows the barrel to cool. It does absolutely nothing at all to change the firepower of the given firearm.
