Denver Doo-Doo
Pet owners get 72 hours to clean their yard.
OK, not only does the article just sound incredulous about the time-frame, but they also make it sound like these sorts of laws are in a lot of cities.
So, maybe because I live in the country and am a hillbilly and all, some of you city folk can help me understand this story.
Do people really go around their own yard picking up dog turds? What do they do with them? Flush them? Throw them in the trash? Take them to the neighborhood barbecue and compare them?
WTF people? You city folk are supposed to be smarter than us country folk yet I have never walked into a yard with the purposeful intent of turd picking.
Here's my yard. You wouldn't believe how many dog turds are probably out there.

What amazes me more than people picking up turds is a city council that took the time to write a turd picking law and the police they send to make sure you pick up turds. Our founding fathers would really be proud.
You better run for the hills. The turd cops will get you.

If you have a lush lawn, one bad day behind the lawnmower will teach you to go turd hunting with the spray nozzle on the water hose.
I still don't know what the city council has to do with it.
