Heroes Will Be Terminated
A Roseville, Minnesota man lost his job because he helped a coworker that was being robbed. According to Fox News, on March 26 Mark Beverly was working at the Super America in Roseville and heard his fellow employ screaming. He ran out and found her wrestling with a masked man who was robbing the store. Instead of peeing himself, Beverly tackled and fought the bandit.
His employer, instead of giving the man a reward or a pat on the back, fired him instead. Yep, fired him for it. Apparently Marathon/Speedway/SuperAmerica has a policy of no resistance. Speedway should have promoted Mark Beverly to head of security since the company obviously has a vacancy in that department. In fact, the only thing I see that Beverly did wrong was let him get away without the need of an Ambulance or bodybag.
Speedway President Anthony Kenney is obviously one of those peace-loving sheep that believes in rolling over and playing dead. What a pussy. Kenney should be ashamed of himself for his actions. I wonder if his wife and kids know what a coward he is and how unsafe they are in their own home with that attitude. I bet his kids cry themselves to sleep in shame.
I used to shop at Speedway and SuperAmerica. In fact, I was in that very Roseville store just two weeks before this incident. I'm glad that now I know Speedway is unsafe because of their policies and can avoid them.
Good job Mr. Beverly. Bad job Tony, you suck.
