PETA wants jockey Gabriel Saez suspended after Eight Belles broke her legs during the Kentucky Derby and had to be put down. Of course the pinheads also want them to stop whipping horses and impose age limits. My personal favorite is that they also demand horses stop running on dirt. Heaven forbid that horses run on dirt. Dipshits.
I think the real problem is jealousy. PETA likes to kill animals by the thousands and now there is one animal that they won't get the chance to kill. They were probably hoping to "find her a good home" then dump her in a dumpster somewhere.
Probably the only thing more hypocritical than a left coast liberal or a U.S. Senator is PETA. Animal rights my ass; PETA thinks that every animal has the right to die.
