The Columbus Dispatch had a moment of clarity when they published this article proclaiming the open carrying of a firearm is not a crime in Ohio. Well, who besides a few cops thinks it is?  All in all it is a good article.

The part that irks me though is the attitude of a few "Only Ones" that think they need to harass a citizen for no reason. For instance, Sgt. Rick Weiner (name kind of fits) says that if the police sees someone just walking down the street openly carrying a firearm that "We're going to pull our guns." Really? Pull your guns just because someone has a gun and is not using it to commit a crime? Someone just owns a gun and now you think cops should go around drawing theirs?  Are you Marshall Dillon or something?  What a tool.

Hey Weiner, we know you are so superior to us lowly citizens and all but why don't you just concentrate on parking tickets and donut shops and leave real police work to professional police officers?
