Reuters is reporting that Russia is starting to clash more with the West. 

Russia Foresees New Problems With The West

Really they are not new problems but rather old problems.  Russia is claiming that Europe and the United States are trying to stifle their global influence. They also accuse the United States of "imposing its military superiority on the world" and are "suspicious" of NATO.

Are these really new problems with the West? I mean, are not these the same claims The Soviet Union made in the 1940's, 1950's, 1960's and 1970's? The only real difference is that now Mikail Gorbachev is Christian.

JT once said that he missed the Cold War because it kept everyone honest.  There is a lot of truth in that. The Cold War did provide our Nation with at least a beacon if not a purpose. Now we just seem to be floundering around with no direction. Maybe its because we have such great losers leaders like Ivan McCain, Osama Hussein and China Hillary.
