Hmmm, Communist China cracks down on Tibetan protests and everyone acts surprised?  Has everyone forgotten that this is COMMUNIST CHINA?  The same commies that brought us Tiananman Square?

Does everyone think that just because Bill and Hillary Clinton campaigned hard to get Permanent Most Favored Nation Trading status for China on behalf of their Arkansas Wal-Mart buddies that China is different now?

Maybe because they are going to host some silly world track and field event that they have changed?



They are Communists for Pete's sake.  Totalitarians. They will not let Tibet alone and if anyone thinks they will hesitate killing some buddhist monks any longer than they will execute Christians, don't fool yourself.

My grandfather was there years ago on board a U.S. Navy cruiser. They had several crew members on regular shifts with long poles assigned to do nothing but push bodies away from the ship as they floated down stream.  Nothing has really changed in all these years.


Update:  Let's not forget how good Commies are at censorship too.  China already bans any YouTube or Wikipedia and other discussions of Tianaman Square, now they are also blocking YouTube coverage of the Tibetan protests.
