Reading, Writing and Reach-Arounds

According a story in the Boston Globe, parents that were taken to court by the local middle school lost their case to have a say on what is taught to their 13 year old boy.  The school wanted to make sure that the child was exposed to as much gay teaching as possible and when the parents refused to give permission, the school sought help from the court.

Apparently, the school was teaching something that required the parents to sign off on. When they refused, the school took them to court. So why did the school need special permission I wonder? And when it was not freely given, they needed the court to force the parents to give permission? Weird. "Sign this or we will get a judge to make you sign it"!

Maybe the parents were interfering in the Cohasset Middle School's No Child's Behind Left Alone program.  Judge Patrick F. Brady apparently agrees with the school. The parents were interfering with the school's plan to teach homosexuality to as many confused 13 year olds as possible and that is what it takes to make a brighter future.

Sounds like the judge and the school board is sure ready to put themselves right behind any youngster.
