Rudy Flip-Flops on Flip-Flopping

According to an AP article, Rudy Giuliani made the comments "he would not change course with the political winds" and "I'll set a course and stick with it."

Uh, didn't he already change course with the political winds?  Didn't he say Gun Control was fine back when he wanted to be mayor but was not okay now that he wants to be presidient? And then change it to unless you are from New York and then it is still needed?

Rudy's political compass only has one course—the White House. That's the course he will stay and issues are not important.

I think he is afraid that Romney is flip-flopping more than he is so he needs to flip-flop more.  If the Republican Party actually goes with one of these nuts, I think I'll flip-flop a lot too.

Even though I think your politics are naive and simplistic, you are right on the money re Rudy. The man has no philosophy and will say or do what is necessary to get elected. He started out in his youth as a Kennedy liberal. He'd become Rush Limbaugh if he thought it would get him elected.

My politics are indeed simplistic and get more so as I age--but not really naive as I am fully aware that I have lost the will to compromise.
