Question: Who do you call for a job if you've been running around the counrty in a diaper and pepper spraying people?
Answer: The U.S. Navy of course!

I guess there is no room in space for phsycho women. But apparently, the Navy needs them to train other pilots.
She was originally expected to report for work this week, but Nowak will start her new job in April instead due to "that time of the month".
She reportedly will be working on two new military manualls:
The Importance of Huggies and Estrogen in the Modern Flight Suit
Basic Survival with only a BB Gun, Knife, Steel Mallet and Rubber Tubing
New Recruiting Slogan: Navy, Its not just a job, its a Pamper pepper spraying adventure.
I think that they're just parking her with the Navy until her trial is over, it probably looks better than just flat-out firing her from NASA and leaving her jobless. Plus she might know stuff they don't want her leaking to the press or whatever, this way they can keep an eye on her.
According to my in-house naval aviation expert... she was in the Navy all along and basically just "on loan" sotospeak to NASA. Naval (air force et al) pilots in NASA are ultimately still under commission with their branch, so the navy HAS to stick her somewhere...
... and the place the stuck her was an out of the way little hole where it would be relatively easy to control press access until the trial is over.
