Old Man Gets New Clothes
I received this from the Tennessee Squire Association today:
The Jack Daniel Distillery is unveiling a new look for Gentleman Jack
Rare Tennessee Whiskey, and we want you to be among the first to know
about it. The new Gentleman Jack bottle began shipping to bars,
restaurants and package stores in mid-February.
Using the same painstaking care that goes into making the world's only twice Charcoal Mellowed whiskey, we've created a Gentleman Jack bottle that reflects the character of the spirit within. But despite the newly refined outward appearance, nothing has changed about the whiskey inside the bottle. Introduced in 1988, Gentleman Jack is made using only the finest grains and iron-free water that flows from the Distillery's Cave Spring. It is still Charcoal Mellowed twice, once before it goes in the barrel and then again after it's fully matured. The result is a whiskey with an exceptionally smooth character.
So be on the lookout for the new-look Gentleman Jack Rare Tennessee Whiskey bottle. And please let us know what you think!
Your friends at Jack Daniel's.

Nice! I had not heard about that yet, and I am supposedly signed up for email updates at their website. I am thirsty now....
