The last couple of days in Southern Ohio have sucked. Hot and Humid do not mix well with fatass.  So after a day at an office where the A/C couldn't quite keep up I return to my hotel to relax in the comfort of my room.

I open the door and am hit with a wall of heat.  I looked at the thermostat and see that it is 87 degrees in my room the selector has been turned 'OFF'.  Not turned down, not turned back, turned the off. She turned it the fuck off!  On what the local news called "the hottest day of the year" housekeeping turns my A/C OFF!  WTF?

This isn't some cheap motel where the air is either off or on and they want to save power. Each room has its own thermostat.  She could not have done this to conserve power- it would take more to cool it down from that than to maintain the 68 I had set it to that morning.


I guess 87 is confortable in Thirdworldistan or wherever she's from.  WTF? Go home and milk your goat in the heat if you want to but leave my thermostat alone!
